Our story - how EMLI began.

After my first baby, I developed pelvic girdle pain that made even the simplest movements hard. A women’s health physiotherapist helped, but the long waitlists and high costs made regular care difficult to keep up.

When I started working with Hannah, an exercise physiologist passionate about women’s health, everything changed. Through consistent, guided movement, I healed, rebuilt strength, and began to feel confident in my body again.

Together we realised how many mothers miss out on these fundamentals - left in pain, unsure where to start, or overwhelmed by mixed advice.

how it works?

DO I NEED ANY EQUIPMENT?

Not much! You’ll only need a mat or clear area to lie down, a resistance band and a stable chair or step. All exercises are designed to be done at home with minimal space and simple equipment

WHEN CAN I START THE PROGRAM?

You can begin whenever you feel ready and have clearance from your healthcare provider. Our self-assessments help you move safely through each stage, no matter how long it's been since birth.

WHEN CAN I RETURN TO RUNNING?

Current evidence recommends waiting until at least 12 weeks post-partum before beginning a return to running program. Provided you meet key strength and control criteria. If you haven’t yet rebuilt strength and stability through your core and pelvic floor, we recommend starting with Foundations of Postpartum Recovery before progressing to Postpartum Return to Running. Our running program includes built-in readiness checks to guide you through each stage safely, helping you move from low impact to running with confidence and strength.

HOW LONG DO I NEED ACCESS FOR THE PROGRAM?
